Recently I posted on my Behance account and I thought it would be a good idea to explain some of my thought process and methods I used to setup and take these photos.

For the photos taken what I did was I found a couple empty alcohol bottles around my house and in a house full of kids in college it wasn’t a long search. After i found the bottles I filled them up with water for the clear alcohol and for the brown liquors I mixed water with a little bit of cola to give it that brown tint to it.

When I started to take the photos I was trying to give they bottles the chilled outdoor winter party vibe and taking these I had to lay down in the snow freezing my stomach to get a nice eye level shot and I wanted to lower the depth of field so the background would be a bit more hazier but the final image didn’t come out as well as I wanted but now I know for future shoots. After i took the images into Camera Raw and just started to play alot with the global edits to mostly increase sharpness and saturation to make the colours pop.
